Audience Reviews for Murder at 1600

  • Jan 15, 2012
These high-concept films don't exist and it's a shame. Granted Murder at 1600 is not a classic for the cause but it has at its heart a fun style plot. The filmmaking is competent and the thriller side of it keeps the film moving. Wesley Snipes never lacks charisma and it's a shame he fell on these films that never hit the box office numbers to give him wider projects. The plot never gains enough traction to overcome the giant flaw of being at the white house. The finale lets the film down and has logic thrown to the wind. The film has its moments and when its about the conspiracy, it's watchable. The second the film begins to reveal the true plot line it falls apart and leaves it in a giant mess. Absolute Power had a similar issue. Snipes and Lane keep this watchable and as a high-concept thriller it's surprisingly watchable. 14/06/2020

Pretty average 90's action movie. Wesley is okay...but he should stick to playing badass badguys

I liked this one even if it was filled with serious plot holes and such. The pure cheesy fiction held my attention, with good characters. Swell.

A Brainless, Pointless action thriller, that suprisingly doesn't star "Stallone, Willis, or Crowe"
