Jacob B @JB3.0 1d Enjoyable for both Despicable Me fans and cat lovers alike. Shame this is the only other time, Minion Rush notwithstanding, that we get to see an Evil Minion (hilariously redundant title once the Minions were retconned from being Gru's creations into being around since the beginning of time with the purpose to serve the most villainous masters they could find). Lowkey kinda wish we got a follow-up dealing with that last-second problem. Then again, I don't think Illumination would want to deal with the question straight-on: are the Minions immortal or just really hard to kill? The former has been something implied since day one. Who cares? Whether this is canon or not is irrelevant. It's just another amusing short film meant to give Despicable Me fans their fix while they waited for the then-upcoming spinoff.
