  • Written and directed by the actress Camilla Strom Henriksen, this is, in the tradition of Lukas Moodysson's Lilya 4-ever, quite the downer, but also very vague. And with distracting horror pretensions.

  • I found the seductively Scandinavian Instagramable interiors and freakishly good-looking blond leads increasingly distracting.

  • Phoenix is shot in dark, restrained tones. It's unremittingly grim for the first half hour in its observation of the details of Jill's life.

  • This is definitely a film to see at the cinema and if we want more interesting and complex stories such as this then we must show it by bums on seats.

  • The first half works better, but as a claustrophobic, psychological's an interesting piece.

  • Intelligent and uncompromising, this s a film that may break your heart but one you won't want to miss.
