A twenty-seven year old professional basketball player about to sign a lucrative endorsement contract that will set him up for life sees his entire future begin to crumble by the greed of a woman he swears never to have met in a revealing study of the ultra-materialistic "playa" culture starring Allen Payne, Anthony "Treach" Criss, and Elise Neal. Cedrick Tinsley (Payne) has it all: a successful career on the court, a beautiful fiancée he is preparing to propose to, and enough cash to live life in style. As Cedric prepares to enter into an endorsement contract that could propel his career to the next level, a woman who claims to bear his child emerges from the woodwork intending to sue him for paternity. The only problem is that Cedric claims never to have even met the litigious woman currently threatening to bleed him dry. Now determined to keep his career on track and allow let the "playas" that be to drag him down, Cedric prepares to fight for his future in a world where money equals power and everyone is just trying to make a buck.
