Groovy W @RT06456318 4d This won't be an in-depth review, but suffice to say - not a good movie. The weirdest thing about it to me is that the killer's demographic is just women. Two of them are drunk chicks getting a ride home from a bar, and the killer inexplicably chooses to keep one of them alive, and the last we see of that victim is her having her mouth sewn shut. Women are the chosen victims, so I could imagine a film giving them agency which is then stripped when the killer gets 'em, right? But the film doesn't do that, they're utilities for Dan's plot from minute one to minute done. They're effectively personless and don't even really get the chance to fight back for themselves. It's a woman-in-the-fridge situation with Danny's girlfriend, too - and a contrived one at that. The film has a laundry list of contrivances to make the ending pop off the way it did - from the app glitch paying Danny regardless if he picked up the riders, to following the killer in linear fashion. Poorly written overall. See more Read all reviews
