Homophobia from the bible thumping character…didn’t even seem to be a directors choice… Cheap lighting and a character disappearing does not equal the suspense of Jaws. See more Theo J @TheoFanastic999 May 9, 2026 This was one of the most scariest thriller Films, and definitely had lots of scares. I especially was frightened about the mother sitting at a table. Well, her disabled adoptive daughter was trying to look up her medication. Horrifying. (what really happened was was that the mother was looking at the daughter with a sinister smile. And you can see it.) (the mother is creepy. And horrifying. And certainly scary.) But that movie doesn’t scare me. Not much. Great job on the film. Was a little. Out dated Needs more work to be done. Maybe have it so that the police officer can arrest the mother in the second film. See more C B @RT03025588 Apr 6, 2026 An effective thriller that utilizes the familiar idea of "even if I tell them the truth, no one is going to believe me". Every once in the while in the news, there will be a story about someone chained inside a room for 20 years, so the plot is kind of realistic. [SPOILERS] I would have changed the escalator scene, so that Chloe somehow managed to summon up the strength to lift her legs and push her mom down the steps! See more Read all reviews
