Mar 30, 2014 Great 1st person, legit film. You follow real life Marines and their problems day in and day out. What I wanted to give props on was that they did not hold anything back. If you CANNOT handle swearing, death - basically what a soldier sees, hears, says, and fears - then I would not even begin to consider this film. Most of us aren't aware of what we send our soldiers into when they went to Iraq. Sending our young men into a battle that some of us don't agree with, but not trying to make a political statement. The film is often graphic, trying to show how war really is, not just reported on the "news." In the end, even the most devout Marine is faced with the idea that we were all sold a bill of goods for this war, but that does not compromise who our soldiers are-they still defend what America is about.
