Movie Info

The adventures of a boy and his beagle continue in this sequel to 1997's Shiloh. Marty Preston (Zachary Browne, replacing Blake Heron, who played the role in the first film) is a well-meaning 12-year-old who adopts Shiloh, a beagle who was treated cruelly by his first master, a bitter alcoholic named Judd (Scott Wilson). However, when Judd is hurt in an auto accident, Marty realizes Judd may have lost one of the only friends he had, even if he did mistreat Shiloh. With help from his parents (Michael Moriarty and Ann Dowd), Marty tries to help Judd get back on his feet both physically and emotionally. Rod Steiger also joins the cast returning from the first film as the crusty but lovable Doc Wallace.

Audience Reviews for Shiloh 2: Shiloh Season

Shiloh is back but this time it's a different plot judge Trevor's once his dog back and Marty's family is telling Marty to stay away from Jud Travers because he is rude. Marty wonders if he can convince Judge Travers to being more sincere and more nice I like the first Shiloh better. But give this one a try see what you think of it can care both of the Shilo movies

I love this movie. The Shiloh movie are the reason I always wanted a beagle and I had one for about 4 or 5 years. I was gonna name it Shiloh but my dog was a girl so i named her Lucy instead.

The first movie teaches pretty much the same lesson as this film, kindness can change those with hearts of stone, but did it better. The original Marty was not much of an actor, and the new Marty is not much of an actor either, but was an improvement. Fortunately for the first movie, the other actors did a fine job making the movie good enough to enjoy. Unfortunatley for the sequel, most of the acting was subpar and overdone, making it a chore to watch. This is not really worth your time.
