Jahzia W @RT84703062 Apr 29 I wish I could speak to the director that made this, but they are probably busy doing homework. It’s low budget so you shouldn’t expect much anyway, but whoever wrote the lines for the actors needs to learn how a conversation is actually driven. The amount of times they repeat the same line over and over again really makes it hard to listen to. I’ve had to stop the movie four times before getting to the fifty minute mark because of how bad the acting is. Parts of the movie try to get your emotions going/scared/riled up just become laughable. They need to go to a gun range and learn what shooting actually looks/feels like. I understand the low budget aspect so the effects aren’t going to be the greatest, but for gods sake move back with the rifle or move the pistol up to simulate recoil. All in all hard to watch, but I hope the director keeps trying and does more research. Could be a wake up call into some great work. Need good zombie movies. At first it feels like a classic zombie setup, so I thought I knew where it was going. But when the scientist character appears, the story takes a turn and becomes much more unique and interesting. The characters are well written and easy to follow, and even though the actors aren’t well known, they really do a great job. It feels sincere and well made, especially for a smaller production. Overall, it’s a solid zombie film with a fresh angle, and I’m glad I gave it a chance. You can tell it’s a low-budget movie, but it’s done in a really smart way. The action scenes are intense and well executed, and the visuals are much stronger than I expected. The actors aren’t big names, but they’re genuinely good and feel right in their roles.
