Gary 11/01/2024 Loved the locations, costumes and the script. The cinematography was excellent as well. The only criticism I have is the flashback to the era before Joseph Smith's assassination. I lost the thread there somewhere. It was also odd that the married gentlemen in the film never kissed their wives, nor they, him. Would have liked to have seen a little more development of the female charters in the film, though there may not have been much documentation of their roles. Emma Smith wrote of her experiences as did some other women of the times and much is contained in diaries of these women as well. See more Steve 10/30/2024 The history was accurate. The story is well told and well acted. Good cinematography. I wish it wouldve been an hour longer because it had to leave out a lot of the relevant history.
