No matter how much you like Star Wars, the film will leave you feeling relatively healthy and normal. Go to Full Review

10/22/2012 I am no Starwoids and I have not seen this movie. I am NOT a Starwoid since I don't like Star Wars. See more 02/07/2011 More about the lines that formed months in advance of the opening if Episode I and less about what drew these people to Star Wars in the first place. The doc is decidedly one-sided since it does not discuss how Episode I was not received well by all. I for one would have been very interested to hear about someone who waited in line all that time and didn't like the movie. I didn't wait in a long line and I didn't like it. See more 05/25/2010 I was not impressed. Starwoids should not be comparing itself the the film Trekkies. It sets itself up for disapointment. I am a Star Wars lover but found the documentary Trekkies absolutely hilarious. It highlights the most amazingly interesting people and takes you through a lifestyle that even if you think geeks are silly, you can't help but respect. This documentary is about standing in a line to see Phantom Menace, and is kind of like watching a dramatic soap-opera. See more 04/18/2010 A movie about Star Wars nerds waiting in line for Episode I. This movie might be better than the one they waited in line to see. zing! See more 06/24/2009 An interesting docu. It's not so much a profile of extreme Star Wars fans (a la "Trekkies"). Rather, it's mostly focused on the culture of lining up for a movie, back when there was still hope and optimism about the film. At the same time there's a exploration of the attitude of wanting to "be first" at something. See more 05/19/2009 Production quality varies, but footage is very interesting. Can be hard to follow at times. See more Read all reviews
