STOP! THAT! TRAIN! follows best friends Tess (Ginger Minj) and DeeDee (Jujubee), train stewardesses who trade their dreary shifts on the Stank Rail for the glitzy Glamazonian Express. ... It’s so great to see queer joy on screen without an ounce of seriousness in a time that is tough for the community, but I just wish the movie itself had evoked more of that emotion in the audience.

Here’s a smoother, more polished version that keeps your voice: Loved Ru, and loved the film! Jujubee and Ginger were fantastic leads, and the supporting cast brought plenty of sass. While the movie was hilarious overall, there were a few moments where the jokes didn’t quite land—you could definitely feel it in the theater. That said, it was a fun, campy ride with visuals that absolutely delivered. My only wish? More Ru, a little more catty drama, and perhaps a bit more audience testing to tighten up the comedy. It would’ve been perfection. Overall, I still highly recommend it!
