Street Fighter...craves unpredictable silliness. [However,] excessive preoccupation with expository dialogue and self-referential dialogue keeps the film weighed down to the ground, unable to soar and reach its Speed Racer/RRR dreams.

It was a dumb cheesy action movie in the best way possible with nods to the original 1994 movie. Just a fun time without being super deep. Yes, there is a plot just a very basic one to get characters together to fight. No Shakespear nor did I want it to be.

Is it a masterpiece, no? Is it bad? No. Just a good ‘ol entertaining movie. The story is about as ludicrous as one would expect, but allows you to turn your brain off and enjoy. Fun watch.

Good choreography, script could’ve been better but there were parts that may give you a laugh. Ken & Ryu were cast perfectly, chun li steals the show imo. Overall fun theater movie, paced mostly for entertainment. 7/10
