It’s all rather predictable, but the world-building is distinctive and the animation is pleasingly lush. Go to Full Review

Unlike the greatest Pixar films that the director, Nathan Greno, and his three writers are trying to emulate, any sharper messaging gets quickly cast aside for a fairly rote buddy comedy quest narrative. Go to Full Review

Fast-moving but sometimes confusing, this gorgeously animated fantasy features imaginative world-building and striking visuals that remain fascinating for viewers of all ages. Go to Full Review

A simple adventure, this animal buddy movie follows the genre's tropes perfectly without straying too far, but precisely because of its simplicity, it works where it needs to. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Mark G @RT51306766 15h This movie captured my attention with its beautiful scenery in the previews. The world building was wonderfully animated in its animal designs and vibrant colors. As for the story, this could have easily been expanded into a short series with more fleshed out dialogue. I appreciate the twists and messages the movie sends, but the writing needed more depth. Overall, it’s a cute story you can enjoy as a family with your younger ones. Solid 8/10. See more Belle P. @Belle.P 17h Loved it! Lots of plot twists I really didn’t see coming. Great message. See more Karla L @RT99046590 1d The concept is pretty interesting, the animation is just amazing and the plot is a very interesting topic that lets you thinking about climate changes and how this affects the criatures and everyone around. See more Abhinav T @RT57953696 1d Stunning visuals. Good music and story. Must-see! Quite underrated. See more Ranny L @RT68152916 1d Great story and messages. The animals are isolated and congregate in separate groups. However, as Ollie and Ivy navigate their quest to find a way to return to their bodies, they learn that they need each other. While these creatures would likely have conflict in the real world, together they uncover and demonstrate that they are stronger together. The message is about not judging a character by the type of animal it is, but instead taking a moment to "walk in their shoes" and learn about who they are. In addition to the talented actors who play the main characters, Tracy Morgan plays Boogle, a seemingly endearing and kind fish who initially befriends Ollie and Ivy and gains their trust. Tracy Morgan is extremely versatile as he transitions from a playful fish to a more sinister role. I especially appreciate the honest dialogue when Ivy pointedly asks Ollie whether he does not trust her. I give Swapped 5 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 5 to 12. Drake G., KIDS FIRST! The plot had an amazing twist to it , this movie definitely deserves a spot at top of new well done movies! See more Read all reviews
