Laura G Mar 23 I'm finding myself getting annoyed at the lack of human accountability here, and the language in the narration is frustrating. While informative and fairly interesting, not necessarily in a good way, it is so frustrating to hear them speak about how the fish population in the Great Lakes dropped because of "parasitic sea lampreys". This is so odd. The reason the lampreys came into the Great Lakes was because of measures humans made to nature that had an effect on sea lampreys. When you do that, nature is going to react; did we not all watch Jurassic Park? Something was being taken away from the lampreys population in the sea, so of course they adapted and moved into the Great Lakes. They evolved; it's a natural (and human) reaction to adapt to your circumstances. But even when they "controlled" the sea lamprey population, another "predator" arrived. Ya think?? After those in the fishing industry destroyed the lamprey population, which was deemed the biggest predator, you tried to control that new predator too? Who is the common denominator here? I'm no vegan or animal activist but holy crap. What a cluster. Justice for sea lampreys. See more Read all reviews
