As a survivor of the industry I am so grateful for how much care and dedication Mikaela Shwer took telling the stories of these survivors and exposing the Troubled Teen Industry. The film centers survivors’ stories in a way that feels raw and authentic, showing not only the complex journey of healing but also the power of community and activism.
