Overall, I still cannot call The Medium a badly made film. It knows how to make an engaging story, and it uses multiple old horror tricks and shows you can still make something new out of the old.

Panalo. Isa sa mga pinaka nakakatakot na found footage horror films. May mga butas lang sa istorya gaya ng kung paano at ano ang totoong ikinamatay ni Nim pero nevertheless panalong panalo sa mga jump scares

This film is over two hours long and even though it had its slow moments I was never disinterested, on the contrary, the closer the film got to the end the greater the terror and tension became.

Já vi filmes melhores de terror, mas gostei muito da estética. Sua ambientação num país muito diferente do convencional (Nordeste da Tailandia), o aprofundamento nas crenças de uma religião local diferente (Cultura Xamã Deusa Bayan) nos leva para um cenário novo, que por sinal a fotografia e ambientação é muito bonita e rica, principalmente quando vão para a floresta com as estátuas e ritos, parece algo tribal, civilização Maia. No Final a possessão em sí é boa mas não tão aterrorizante, acho que faltou força. No geral e um bom filme, perto dos que estamos acostumados a assistir.

Maybe because I like horror movies with a documentary style, I ended up really enjoying this film. With this kind of format, it feels like I’m watching a real story, making it feel more authentic compared to typical horror movies.
