WendyLSchmidt P Mar 23 I'm sorry but this is just another midlife crisis middle-aged man having it off with a girl that was almost like a daughter to him before he started to sleep with her. And the girl is unlikeable. This reminds me of the W. Allen films where he keeps trying to tell us it's fine to sleep with his step daughter. See more Lisa M @lijomo 12/15/2024 It had so much potential to be better, but alas it felt like someone just wanted the plot idea with no substance. Taboo relationship hated by everyone!! Yet the movie gives no reason for people to not see these relationships as having potential to be something more, or real, despite it not being cultivated in an appropriate way. They could have easily shown a development of mutual and platonic understanding, humor, friendship- before realizing it could be more- but it didn't. And the ending didn't make sense. Nina, while running away from everything ever, you could see character development happening and some sort of effort, then to just leave the ending as is was wild to me.
