The original Prince and Me wasn't the biggest blockbuster film out there but the main actors had more chemistry together. Julia Stiles was much better as Paige and the impending marriage of King Edvard to the woman of his dreams didn't exactly seem to excite him. The plot was shallow and cheesy and made for a disappointing watch. You've been warned so spare yourself the agony of watching this....

Predictable throughout. Planning wedding. Prince Albert of Norway is a jealous relative of the Royal family & finds a law that will ruin the wedding unless they can find a loophole. & Therefore Prince Albert & his daughter Princess Kirsten (but really Who cares) comes along & stays at the palace. She?s been friends w/ Prince Edvard since they were children..& so sabotages Paige any chance she can get so that maybe Edvard will change his mind about Paige & therefore he choose her so she can become queen. It?s a bit annoying how you know what?s coming next. Its sort of part Princess Diaries part 2 when Count Mabry (John Rhys-Davies) gets Lord Nicholas Devereaux (Chris Pine) to woo the Princess because she needs to find a husband before she can become queen. Etc. Only Prince & Me 2 is more along the line of what PD 2 is & 3 would have been. A few extra points for getting past (in ways) PD in 2 movies? C+ but there?s a Prince & Me 3rd & 4th movie! & Luke does not reprise his role.. as the King but Chris Geere

Oh my God! This movie was so tacky and not very well thought through. I was especially annoyed when the prince was to speak Danish and it sounded nothing like Danish at all, I speak Danish fluently and I almost couldn't recognize the words they spoke. All the scenes were wrong, the royal dresses were all wrong etc. Everything in this movie was so American and nothing at all like Denmark. Do not watch this movie if you have anything better to do.

These movies really are duds. Likeable enough cast, but who would be the target audience for this, I really can't imagine. I can't picture todays tweens getting all dewy eyed at the idea of marrying into a royal family.I don't find weddings riveting viewing either, so really all this one needed was a baby, and I would have been in movie hell. Close enough to.
