See more Jaime B @RT83643239 Apr 25 The premise, character development had me interested, then the script goes off the rails. Rayburn gets shot with an spear, carries a girl on his back through the woods to his cabin, has a brutal fight with the bad guy, then is shot by the Sheriff, has surgery in a camper, then is ready for action. The Sheriff shoots Rayburn (???) because she thinks the bad guy is her brother because he cracks his knuckles and wants to protect. The girl victims have a scar on their throat which makes them mute. The reason for this is never explained. The motive for the bad guy is vague, but he confesses he killed Rayburn's daughter which means Rayburn can throws him in an animal trap he used to use when he was a hunter. The symbolism is there, but the payoff is DUMB. The main flaw is events happen to move the story forward rather than the actions of the character drive the story. This is screenwriting 101.
