chris f 08/17/2022 An extremely minimalist documentary. Calling it a documentary even seems a bit disingenuous. It's more like an immersive film. It doesn't care much about explaining anything. It just dumps you into a perspective that is different and a bit strange, and lets you soak it in. It's certainly unique. There's certainly no way I could ever personally know what the life of rural farmers and secondhand traders is the middle of nowhere Georgia was like. But now I have my glimpse of that. The real downside to this film is that there's not much else to it. The whole premise is explored very quickly, and beyond the lingering feeling of "huh, that was interesting," there's not much else to say or take away. See more Read all reviews
