arvind S @Arvind100 2d Vismaya Mohanlal aces the action sequences, though the same cannot be said about her non-combat ones. But I feel her acting prowess will just get better with experience. The other debutant - Aasish Joe Antony (2nd movie if you consider the cameo in Empuraan) makes for a very diabolical villain with just two lines of dialogue. Sai Kumar, Ramesh Kottayam, Manoj K Jayan make up the remainder of the cast with Mohanlal in a cameo (of sorts). Thudakkam is a movie of two halves. The procedural style in the first was gripping with the second half being action-heavy. Predictability plays spoilsport in the 2nd half. But the brutal action block at the end is a treat to watch. Thudakkam could have been better if it had not adopted the age old story of 'protecting your loved ones from an outsider'. For me, the highlight of the movie was K.S Chitra's beautiful, soul stirring song - 'Thaliromale'. Beautifully sung, moved me to tears. See more Rajeev K @AreKayDee 3d It's a good movie. The story is clichéd but fairly paced. It could have been a really good coming of age / finding oneself movie. But Mr Mohanlal's cameo was just cringe.
