Too bad this noir was under-budgeted. It results in a visually boring film, but the performances by Beverly Michaels, Richard Egan, Percy Helton, and Evelyn Scott make this under-appreciated film worthwhile. Take this as a character profile of a morally corrupt woman or just a sleazy-little noir either way its good pulpy fun.
