Chris B @Papa13070 Jun 3 This chronicles the life of Wyatt Earp from young child to wise gray hair fellow. It highlights significant moments over time as well as a couple of his romances and their influence on him. It is more methodically paced and less gun play action as Tombstone was. It focused on his persona and integrity. This was certainly watchable for the full duration even though I frequently felt Costner was, at times, just reading lines as he didn't add much detail to his script delivery. Dennis Quaid breathed much more life and energy into his character of Doc Holiday despite his character close to death due to tuberculosis. Good drama, picturesque scenery and enough action and drama to keep you engaged. See more Zane T @ZaneThind Apr 1 A very underrated western. A nice biopic with good direction, good acting, beautiful Cinematography, and an epic score that suits a three hour long epic like this. While the film was a good watch the only gripe is that some storylines are not paid off. Dennis Quaid gives the most entertaining performance of all as Doc Holiday.
