I really really wanted to like this movie. The casting was great. The premise was interesting. But the execution was awful. I can’t even pinpoint where it went wrong? No character development. The pacing was off. The most interesting character was the robot mule. (I won’t spoil it if you’re still going to watch it) Some people might like it. But I won’t watch this thing again.

Made with one eye on the old epic westerns and one eye on mad max but ended up with both eyes crossed. High spot for me was the global dynamics robot donkey, stand out performance in this, I'll have to keep a watch out for him.

It has some interesting ideas and I liked the Father - son chemistry between Ernest and Jerome but it's a really slow paced movie. I was outright bored at some points.
