5/5 In the Heights (2021) Tatiana Albandos The changes were a great adjustment from the original Broadway show. The film is everything I wanted and more from this film adaptation! EDIT

4/5 Cruella (2021) Brandon Collins I was entertained throughout this entire film. The costume, set and makeup designs accompanied by wild performances by Emma Stone and Thompson make this worth the two plus hour film. EDIT

2/5 Tyler Perry's Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor (2013) Justin Brown It is still entertaining despite some poor creative decisions and weird performances. EDIT

4/5 Tyler Perry's Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor (2013) Brandon Collins It's so crazy and entertaining. Jurnee was on another level in this one. This is such a great movie! EDIT

3/5 Tyler Perry's Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor (2013) Tatiana Albandos The dialogue makes it so entertaining for no reason. So many memorable lines for all the wrong reasons. I watch this every time it's on tv. EDIT

4/5 Always Be My Maybe (2019) Justin Brown Ali Wong and Randall Park killed it along with the rest of the cast. Everything came together on this one. EDIT

5/5 Always Be My Maybe (2019) Brandon Collins This is one of my favorite romantic comedies in recent memory. Loved everything about it. EDIT

1/5 Tom Clancy's Without Remorse (2021) Brandon Collins This is incredibly boring. Very generic story. With such a great cast, this was very disappointing. EDIT
Posted May 28, 2021
2/5 Tom Clancy's Without Remorse (2021) Justin Brown Some of the action was good. But the movie as a whole is very forgettable but that's not Michael B. Jordan's fault. EDIT
Posted May 28, 2021
4/5 Monster (2018) Brandon Collins The pacing of the film is a bit fractured and was frustrating at times but director Anthony Mandler handles the screenplay with an honest lens. "Monster" may not be the easiest watch but it is very much worth it. EDIT
Posted May 21, 2021
3/5 Wheels (2018) Justin Brown I wish certain characters had been used more than focusing on the love story. But it's a good watch. EDIT
Posted May 21, 2021
3/5 Wheels (2018) Brandon Collins It's a solid film, shot very well and NY looks great. I also loved Joshua Boone's performance. EDIT
Posted May 21, 2021
1/5 Black and White (1999) Justin Brown I never want to see this movie ever again. This is terrible. How dare we subject ourselves to this... EDIT
Posted May 21, 2021
1/5 Black and White (1999) Brandon Collins This is absolutely wild. So problematic and a mess of epic proportions... EDIT
Posted May 21, 2021
2/5 Over the Top (1987) Justin Brown This movie is so out of control and has some unsettling moments between the father and son. But it is entertaining. EDIT
Posted May 13, 2021
4/5 Over the Top (1987) Brandon Collins This movie was so much fun. As crazy as it was, I couldn't stop being entertained! EDIT
Posted May 13, 2021
1/5 N-Secure (2010) Justin Brown This movie is horrendous. Not sure how or why this got made. EDIT
Posted May 7, 2021
2/5 N-Secure (2010) Brandon Collins It was so coo coo bananas and unintentionally funny that it entertained me. This is like the black version of "The Room". EDIT
Posted May 7, 2021
1/5 Last Holiday (2006) Justin Brown This movie was NOT good. The story was completely insane and illogical. EDIT
Posted May 7, 2021
2/5 Last Holiday (2006) Brandon Collins LL Cool J's performance is so out of control that it's the only entertaining thing about this film. EDIT
Posted May 7, 2021
3/5 Mariachi (1992) Justin Brown The director did a great job with the $7k budget he had. EDIT
Posted May 7, 2021
3/5 Mariachi (1992) Brandon Collins The performances were a bit uneven but it's a solid movie. Rodriguez did a good job working with what he had. EDIT
Posted May 7, 2021
3/5 Mortal Kombat (2021) Justin Brown This is a pretty good place for the new series to start from. It can only get better from here. EDIT
Posted Apr 29, 2021
3/5 Mortal Kombat (2021) Brandon Collins Solid fighting. Performances were a bit uneven but the Sub-Zero scenes alone were worth a viewing. EDIT
Posted Apr 29, 2021
2/5 Cradle 2 the Grave (2003) Justin Brown There's not much of a plot to this. The action scenes were so unrealistic. EDIT
Posted Apr 29, 2021
3/5 Cradle 2 the Grave (2003) Brandon Collins It's so crazy and we don't get movies like this anymore. For better or worse. This was so entertaining. EDIT
Posted Apr 29, 2021
5/5 The Mitchells vs. the Machines (2021) Brandon Collins The film never drags, the animation is stellar, the entire cast is hilarious and the story does a great job commenting on our obsession with technology and how it has hindered our ability to effectively communicate with one another. EDIT
Posted Apr 26, 2021
3/5 Hustle & Flow (2005) Justin Brown This is a two hour movie that flew by. It was fun in some aspects, the music was tight and just clicked well. EDIT
Posted Apr 22, 2021
3/5 Hustle & Flow (2005) Brandon Collins I really liked the performances. It was dope that everyone gave it 110% for this. EDIT
Posted Apr 22, 2021
2/5 Godzilla vs. Kong (2021) Brandon Collins The only thing that saves this are the fight scenes. The cgi was really good. but the human characters were poorly written. EDIT
Posted Apr 15, 2021
3/5 Godzilla vs. Kong (2021) Justin Brown The storyline was there, the CGI was dope and it was actually fun. It was campy. EDIT
Posted Apr 15, 2021
3/5 Selah and the Spades (2019) Brandon Collins There's enough here to keep my interest for the hour and a half running time. But there were a lot of potential to go into some darker places but they held back. This was a great cast though. EDIT
Posted Apr 8, 2021
2/5 Selah and the Spades (2019) Justin Brown This story didn't have enough to really want me to rewatch it. I needed a stronger story if you're going to have such a good cast. EDIT
Posted Apr 8, 2021
1/5 Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021) Justin Brown This movie is kind of like revisionist history. This is better than the original cut but I don't want anyone else to do something like this. EDIT
Posted Apr 1, 2021
2/5 Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021) Brandon Collins It's way too long. Ray Fisher and Ezra Miller are the best parts of this but it doesn't make up for the stuff that drags... EDIT
Posted Apr 1, 2021
1/5 Good Burger (1997) Justin Brown This was so bad...I hated it. EDIT
Posted Mar 25, 2021
3/5 Good Burger (1997) Brandon Collins It's not a perfect movie...it's not even a great movie but it makes me laugh and I love Kenan and Kel's chemistry. EDIT
Posted Mar 25, 2021
2/5 WeWork: Or the Making and Breaking of a $47 Billion Unicorn (2021) Brandon Collins At a running time of 104 minutes, this documentary broke very little new ground from what you could learn about this company's fall from grace on a Wondery or Foundering podcast. EDIT
Posted Mar 25, 2021
1/5 Gangs of New York (2002) Justin Brown I didn't like the fight scenes in this film. It doesn't fit together very well. EDIT
Posted Mar 18, 2021
2/5 Gangs of New York (2002) Brandon Collins It did have some interesting characters and cool shots with the opening scene. It is definitely one of my least favorite Scorsese films. EDIT
Posted Mar 18, 2021
3/5 Coming 2 America (2021) Justin Brown I have some problems with the story but those nostalgia pieces were really strong. They were chasing a ghost that they were never gonna catch so you gotta appreciate it for what it is. EDIT
Posted Mar 12, 2021
3/5 Coming 2 America (2021) Brandon Collins It had enough laughs for me to say this wasn't a complete waste of two hours. But it didn't have enough to quite justify its existence. EDIT
Posted Mar 12, 2021
5/5 Coming to America (1988) Justin Brown This is my favorite comedy of all time. This is one of the two blu-rays that I own. EDIT
Posted Mar 4, 2021
5/5 Coming to America (1988) Brandon Collins This is a classic! I enjoyed every second of it! EDIT
Posted Mar 4, 2021
1/5 Cherry (2021) Brandon Collins I've definitely spent over two hours in better ways. I can't justify encouraging others to spend time navigating Apple TV+ to watch this. I'm hoping some of that Russo magic returns in whatever they choose for their next project. EDIT
Posted Feb 25, 2021
2/5 Malcolm & Marie (2021) Justin Brown John David Washington is a bit wooden in this. Zendaya was solid but I wish we had gotten a bit more background into their relationship before this film. EDIT
Posted Feb 25, 2021
2/5 Malcolm & Marie (2021) Brandon Collins Zendaya does a good job with the stuff she was given. I liked the soundtrack. I wasn't the biggest fan of the black and white. This isn't something I plan on revisiting anytime soon. EDIT

1/5 New Jersey Drive (1995) Brandon Collins I couldn't connect with this. I have seen better films that depicted life in the struggle like this... EDIT
Posted Feb 18, 2021
3/5 New Jersey Drive (1995) Justin Brown I was expecting this film to be very bad but was pleasantly surprised. This is the low level version of what was happening in NYC in the 90s. EDIT
