This drama, starring Rupert Grint, is loosely based on the popular movie of the same name -- and is inspired by a real-life heist in London. When a group of hustlers in their 20s discover stolen gold bullion, they are thrust into the high-stakes world of organized crime. The hustlers must work fast to navigate the dangerous waters of London's underworld, which proves to be full of rogue cops, local villains, international mobsters and more. Grint plays the role of the utterly posh Charlie Cavendish, and also serves as an executive producer.

Guy Ritchie has nothing to do with the series, but showrunner Alex De Rakoff has generously adapted the director's kinky visual style and black humor... visually it's a blast. Go to Full Review

Criminality can be fun. But too much criminal stupidity will make Snatch a dull show. Go to Full Review

B-
It adeptly moves along, creating a rhythm easy to fall into, but far from addictive. Time may turn this into a more moving adventure, but it's a bit too uninspired to leave a mark a la Mickey's right hook. Go to Full Review

The lackluster writing rarely does justice to the solid lineup of actors. Snatch is certainly worth a try, but it could have been more than it is. Go to Full Review

It respects the origin film, but it's not a slave to it. Recommendable. [Full Review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

MR T Jul 1 The film is great so thought I wud try this...its awful. From the plot to the accents, to the stupidity of the characters its simply woeful. The bad guys are like panto villains so unmenacing its like a parody at times, they stretch it out into 10 episodes (somehow) which is ironic because if this series had an ounce of realism most of the main characters would be dead or in jail purely from their complete and utter incompetence and buffoonary. Its an extremely predictable attempt at being a witty crime comedy and completely misses the mark. Stick to watching the film. See more Elaine G Apr 12 This is quite bad in every way. A few good actors as well. Pity. Poor script and nonsensical acting. See more Kavajo Mar 21 It’s clear the Guy Ritchie had nothing to do with this. The serialisation of an excellent film has been done so badly that it could be taken as a parody. You have all the old Ritchie stock characters - cockneys, gypsies, Jewish diamond merchants etc but so cliched they are painful to watch. There are a few good acting performances but some that stand out as terrible, particularly Rupert Grint. I’m afraid to say that he must take a bigger share of the blame as he is also credited as the executive producer. Clumsy, disjointed and incompetent. See more oneandmillion v Mar 20 It's painfully uninspiring. See more Ray K Mar 13 Awful! Wanted to watch it but had to stop, tiring with a poor script. See more conor m @Callumswindel Mar 8 Acting at points is cringey and just bad, not a terrible watch to be fair but not something I’d waste time watching. Film is miles above the series.
