Anna L. @MizzAnna Feb 18 I’ll start with the good: I loved the way the scenery was a paid actor in this series. And I also love the way the director really submerged the audience into the world. I often felt like I was sitting at the campfires. It felt intimate. I felt the tension. Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren were captivating. Brandon Sklenar also has true star power in his vibe. Storylines kept me interested. Now for the bad: Ugh! The writing was either totally absurd over the top sadistic for the bad guys. And way sappy sappy for the good guys. The sappy parts also felt flipping boring at times. The Spencer and Alexandra storyline wasn’t boring, but I also couldn’t stand these characters. They’re narcissistic, rude, and leaving a trail of innocent victims in their path - all for the sake love for one another? Huh? Good looks but unsympathetic, yucky people.
