All S Sep 3 Boring, Boring. No challenge. See more AX W Aug 28 Having watched all 11 prior seasons, I can say without a shred of uncertainty this was *the* most boring season by quite a bit. I'm not going to share any spoilers, but let's just say almost nothing happens. It may have been the shortest ever in real time and a desert environment just changed the game so much, it's almost unrecognizable to fans. Participants had to spend far too much time on basic survival - boiling water, etc. Bo-ring! See more Glynis F Aug 22 As an avid follower of Alone through all seasons this year (season 12) was the most boring…. I finally gave up on it after the 9th episode. While the setting in Africa was interesting. I have to say I prefer the Canadian North seasons the best… Northern Saskatchewan has been my favourite. Even the Patagonian season was better than this one and it wasn’t as interesting either. Too many people fave up too early…and as well I feel that a few of the contestants were not vetted enough and should never have been on the show See more John E Aug 1 I much prefer the cold climate seasons. This locale is not particularly interesting and the participants’ activities rather repetitive, tedious and boring. Ironically, without the flooding, this season would have been a total “wipeout”. The amount of tap outs in 5 days where Naked and Afraid contestants with not a stitch and only a pot and flint can make it 21 days. The 1st 2 episodes painstakingly terrible, we skipped them, episode 5 a full episode of "looking back" on past seasons. Im so mad I spent money and bought this season. Praying you don't do another episode like this. Alone Australia is way way way better than this terrible season.
