An interesting scientific study, perhaps, but not an entertainment format. Go to Full Review

Alone is very dull, then, as boring as unkind people say Canada is. Go to Full Review

April B @RT22768715 07/30/2024 Horrible production work! Timeline skips around and the "background" music drowns out the participant monologues. This series is not even close to being in the same league as Alone or Alone Australia. See more David S @RT90367107 07/08/2024 I love the US and the second Australia ALONE, the first Australia one was in the worst environment ever except for Alone Frozen. Alone UK was a terribly flawed series. First of all, the timeline was totally screwed up, episode one started 12 days in with 8 of 11 people left. Later episodes were also bad regarding timeline, with sections from earlier episodes mixed in. The people were not of the skill level in any other Alone series, lasting a fraction of the time in a far better environment. I would not recommend watching this to anyone. It was not the contestants, but the production and editing crews! Surely the UK has the talent to do as well as the other ones. See more Warner D @RT97409236 11/25/2023 No where as inspiring as US and Australian versions. Watching UK amateurs cope is a bit of an insult to the original show. See more Michele J @RT45080906 11/21/2023 I am an Alone fan, and watched all the available seasons and episodes in the US, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Australia. So I was really looking forward to the UK version. Like the Nordic series, this features regular people with little to no real survival skills or training, with rare exceptions. And I like that in the Skandi versions (where I think the only prize is in Sweden and it's a vehicle), but this was ridiculous. The clips jump from person to person, no understanding of time, or how anybody is really making the effort to survive. It seems like Day 8-10 before people really start putting any effort into finding food. They're looking at their weight loss on camera by Day 8. It's ridiculous. How did they find places to build their shelters? What was their reasoning? What were their priorities? Seems more like rep-building than anything else. And they've taken the 24 Hours in A&E approach with talking to camera from their homes - shot before or after their stay in the wilderness, and that breaks the continuity of the story. I'd rather they just told their story while in the woods. Cast to perhaps attract the potential of drama or haters. I am actually giving up on it, which for this Alone tragic, says a lot. See more Smiling D @RT57046910 09/28/2023 It's interesting to see how unprepared amateurs adapt to the wild. I've only watched the 1st episode thus far. Surprised only one contestant brought a bow. Not surprised to see someone chop themselves with an axe. The setting is probably the best so far. Not the best shelter builders but not the worst in the Alone series. I always wondered this far into all the Alones, that participants haven't figured out that a strong secure shelter will give them peace of mind early in the game and it doesn't need to be huge or elaborate. Their fire skills are not bad. Have to wait and see if they work out the food challenge. Overall, much better than the Australian Alone disaster which has a horrible location and way underskilled contestants. We'll see. See more Alan B @RT10918363 09/11/2023 The production team did not make the most of this show, sucked the bushcraft out, maxed out the emotional drama, and made it look like Big Brother in the woods. Despite that it was funny at times, and not hard to watch. See more Read all reviews
