What to Know

Critics Consensus

Kudos to Amandaland, a worthy successor to Motherland that's capable of standing on its own two feet thanks to Lucy Punch, who brings laughs and heart to this uproarious comedy.

Trevor R @Laaal 3 days ago As an American, this is the funniest show currently on television. We love this kind of comedy! Quick and over the top and not afraid to push the comedy boundary. It reminds me of Absolutely Fabulous. More please! See more Jo J @SpiritOfTheSun13 May 7, 2026 Love the characters and the dynamics. I'm 53yo, don't have kids but still thoroughly relate to this. It makes me laugh so much. I rewatch often. See more T M @RT55010692 Apr 5, 2025 Love it.. if you liked motherland you’ll love this, yes you do miss all the old gang but Amanda and Ann are just as brilliant and it has the same feel so you do feel like your watching motherland. I personally love all the new characters. I was gutted when they said they wasn’t making another series of motherland, I do hope they make another series of Amandaland I’ve binged watched both multiple times and it makes me laugh every time, some brilliant writing. Well done to all involved. See more Joris C @RT15482499 Feb 15, 2025 Unbearable main character but hilarious comedy ! See more Michael W @MichaelW00 Feb 8, 2025 Simply perfect! Hilarious, brilliant cast… perfectly fills the void left by Motherland, but stands on its own merit too! See more Read all reviews
