Andor, like Rogue One before it, assures the viewer that there are no magical paths to overcoming evil. Only effort, sweat and a willingness to take incredible risks for the sake of either holding the line or gaining inches of ground can get it done.

For three decades the "Star Wars" franchise has been getting progressively dumber, bottoming out with the so-bad-I-couldn't watch them "The Book of Boba Fett" and "Obi-Wan Kenobi." Which makes the stunning adultness of "Andor" all the more miraculous.
