Animals is undoubtedly what's promised in one of the show's taglines: "a new breed of comedy."

An animal perspective on humans makes clear who the real beasts are; and the sewers seem civilized by comparison.

One of the strangest shows to hit the small screen in the past few years. It imagines what the creatures in and around New York City would do if they had recognizable human problems.

The dialogue comes across as witty and sophisticated, typically culminating with a twist.

I can't think of a better show to guide us through 2017 than this bitingly funny series about the inevitability of death in New York.

I enjoyed season 1. Season two was just as funny.

About as good as last season, which I don't like as much by the way, I'd probably say they're both 6/10's. Also, the episode Humans was fucking dogshit. I guess that could technically make this season worse, because there wasn't a 1/10 episode last season. Also, I liked how the story ended at the end of this season, but it felt like a series finale, not season finale, and I think that it was supposed to be because I doubt they thought they were getting renewed. I may watch next season. Also, I had almost finished writing a review for this before this review, but then my browser I'm using for this crashed.!

Such an underrated show.... you need to not take this show seriously at all and space out to enjoy it.
