No consensus yet.
The skills very much on display in this week's present-day showdown, during which Ollie swings from a helicopter while knocking down bad guys? If that's what the new Canary inspires him to do, I am all the more in favor.
Second Chances was an appropriate title for this episode. Curtis and Rene's chat really summed up the hour and we're leaving things in an interesting place to be expanded on.
Second Chances isn't a terrible episode... It just isn't a great one either. It's slow, weighed down by nostalgia and it has entirely too much Tina/Dinah brooding and too little of the characters we already know and love.
Arrow uses Tina's... to explore some common themes circling this season's overarching storyline.
Second Chances was a fitting title for this episode. Not only was it the theme for Team Arrow, but a remarkably effective do-over from the showrunners in finally getting an established component of Green Arrow down correctly.
This installment felt a lot more like the dawn of something new for the aging comic book drama than anything else.
This week's episode was a solid improvement from last week's awkward fest.
Second Chances is intelligent in how it uses the past to inform the present here.
