My early forecast is that Seven Havens won’t be the refined Avatar offering we’re used to, but, at the end of the day, it will still be an iteration that ATLA fans will be grateful for—at the very least. Go to Full Review

Much of the show feels like a genuine attempt to correct for the franchise’s previous shortcomings, rebuilding an established universe in a way that’s less cultural appropriation and more cultural appreciation. Go to Full Review

Phenomenal storytelling - Nickelodeon's Avatar series just gets better and better! A must watch for fans of the franchise, and something non-fans should give a shot. Pavi, Nisha, Jae and Karthik are all great characters. Go to Full Review

Every 22-minute episode delivers eye-popping action, keeping the show’s momentum strong even if answers about what’s going on are doled out sparingly. Go to Full Review

Artemous . @RT86235840 30 min ago It's very on the nose and the pacing isn't really for an adult audience which is further suggested by the animation style. The overall premise so far is actually really good, but compared to Korra and The Legend of Kang, the characters seem a little un-nuanced. But it's still early. The tension resolution dynamic is too on the nose, a problem occurs and the solution is conveniently placed where the characters are, there's no time to let the weight of the problem simmer, and barely if any journey to resolve it. It's not a terrible show, in fact I think it would be 10/10 for kids, but for adults the pacing feels way too quick. My last 2 critiques are that in ATLA and in Korra at times, the world itself felt like a character, and there's plenty of opportunity for that in this, but it feels like a background set piece. Also, sometimes the 2 child main characters (trying not to spoil) seem a little grown up compared to how they look. I really think they should have been 14-16 years old. See more samuel M @Samu.azvd 44 min ago Just by the three first episodes of the show, i can already tell i'll love the whole thing. Yes, there was a downgrade in animation, but it genuenly is beautiful. Things are not so stiff, and you can tell the animators put a lot of effort in it. Pavi is adorable, i LOVE her. She is just another Aang lol!! I also really like Nisha, she gives Korra vibes. I also like Daemin a lot, but i would love to see more of him. The episodes do a really great job at setting the tone for the next ones. Episode 3 got me REALLY hyped for next friday. I can't wait to see more of what they have in store for us. I'm also not against the idea of Pavi and Nisha being able to bend all 4 elements at the age of 9. Korra could already bend 3/4 at four, and mastered 2/4 at 11. Pavi and Nisha aren't masters yet, so we will definately see some training (which i like). I also watched the Avatar Studios panel in the NYC thingy, and was really excited to see the future character desings. In short, i LOVE ASH! See more Bruno F @brunofreire 57 min ago I cant believe this is actually happening, this is peak to me as the entire franchise is hardcore fan over here See more Xanen G @RT66154244 1 hr ago Just watched the first episode. Honestly, I was very skeptical because of Legends of Korra (except for seasons 1 and 3 those were actually good) but I was very blown away on the first episode. I’m excited to see what they do next! See more useless W @O_TV69 2 hrs ago ASH i write this after watching the first 3 episodes. They were Fantastic they provided the perfect mix of excitement and energy. I love the character dynamics the art style is beautiful the animation is sometimes breathtaking and other times especaily with the bakground cheratchters they are a bit stiff but its still a beautiful show that is totally wroth the watch and you dont have to be a fan of the avatr series before watching SH! anyway i miss korra i hope we get to see more of why and what happened! See more Mathieu V @RT59716576 2 hrs ago I LOVE IT, I think it will be better the Legend of Korra. The story is a bit dark, but the graphism are so colorfull and the characters give hope. It seems like it will be an Instant Classic. See more Read all reviews
