Season 3 is very mediocre and doesn't have the "zing" the seasons before had. Why? Only Awkwafina knows, and Comedy Central probably. Oh, and if you want to go on holiday to Scandinavia, go yourself instead of making a boring episode about it so you can go for free. I am delighted and amused with almost every choice she makes with her voice and facial expressions, so this show is really fun for me automatically. Bowen Yang is also great, as is the rest of the cast. Beyond the talented cast, the writing of this show is beautiful and full of surprises. It frequently takes wild creative swings but it remains grounded and heartfelt, centered on characters with whom we really connect. It is full of vulnerability and sentiment without ever becoming corny or sentimental. Instead, it's sharp, wise, innovative and ultimately uplifting. While Nora is a train wreck, of sorts, you can't help but adore her authentic approach to every situation. The supporting casts, especially her Grandmother, are fantastic.
