See more 07/09/2021 The second season of the Babylon Berlin series manages to dispel several of the objections made to the first. It looks less scattered, since the narrative lines are less and clearer, concentrating mainly on one of them and fewer characters. The season has at least three or four peaks of enormous tension, suspenseful scenes sustained over time and even achieved scenes of pure action. It is less pretentious and quarrelsome. There is more emphasis on the political, and from the above, certain characters emerge with more defined contours, such as Councilor Benda (a notable Mathias Brandt) and the fearsome Inspector Wolter (Peter Kurth, a sort of German Robert Mitchum). On the other hand, the chemistry between Lotte (Liv Lisa Fries) and the tortured and fierce Inspector Rath (Volker Bruch) continues to work. Luce menos dispersa, ya que las líneas narrativas son menos y más claras, concentrándose sobre todo en una de ellas y en menos personajes.
