If Riz Ahmed has created a comedy that nibbles but never bites, it is for the very sympathetic reason that he has not numbed his heart. Go to Full Review

Bait will, uh, bait you with its James Bond hook, but then it morphs into a much more interesting and hilarious story. Go to Full Review
Nadira Goffe Slate Apr 16
Even with Shah’s increasingly debilitating hallucinations and psychosis guiding his actions, it’s difficult to understand and empathize with why he as a character does what he does, when the only possible outcome is a recipe for disaster. Go to Full Review
James Preston Poole The Cosmic Circus May 29
Bait is a consistently engaging watch all the way, with its engrossing screenwriting touching on everything from online harassment to cultural icons and the importance of staying true to ones roots. Go to Full Review

Latif is a brilliant role for the versatile Ahmed, allowing him to showcase both his trademark nervous energy (as anyone who saw 2021’s under-rated Encounter can testify) and his comedic timing. Go to Full Review

Well-written, entertaining, poignant and often laugh-out-loud funny, the series is overflowing with excellent actors. This is a trip you will want to take. Go to Full Review

Carolina C @Caro878 Jun 10 Fun show. Has that A24/Safdie Bros kind of vibe but not that chaotic, but I enjoyed it alot. Only 6 episodes too. Hope there will be a S2. See more Luis S @RT65576993 May 13 This show is a bit weird. At first I liked it, but the whole pig head thing gets strange. There comes a point where it just makes me angry to keep watching it. The main character becomes almost schizophrenic. It hurts to watch the show. I stopped liking it because he couldn't be normal. See more Chris J @RT82930701 May 4 Had to turn it off half way into episode 3. This is not a comedy… it’s just dull. See more Mandy H @MandyWatchesU May 2 Big ups Riz Ahmed and Guz Khan! Loved the premise and how the show unravels. It really cuts deep. Absurdist, with a dash of self hatred, this show doesn't pull back it's punches. See more Aisha K @RT07925942 Apr 15 Awesome watch! All the acting is fantastic and the plot line is really good. Cinematography was stellar. Wish it had a season 2! Go Riz! See more Sofia S @RT34038827 Apr 13 I loved how it delved into the world of mental health and the impact it takes on a person. See more Read all reviews
