Tv Season Info

Season 1 of this reality series follows the lives of the crew of a mega-yacht during charter season, when boats are rented out, fully equipped, to wealthy clients. Each episode features different guests aboard the Cuor di Leone, renamed Honor for the show, with Lee Rosbach as her Captain. The crew includes people who have worked on yachts before and people for whom this is their first experience, which leads to rivalries and problems on top of the typical issues of working on a boat. During downtime, the crew also engage in fun and romantic activities, leading to new relationships and breakups. The show ends with a reunion episode, where the crew discusses with Andy Cohen the ups and downs of the season.

The dramas, at least up front, feel pretty mundane.

It doesn't even have enough drama to sustain one episode.

The pilot isn't too bad. The disagreements among the crew seem more genuine at this point, compared to the hyped-up nonsense of other shows, but the oceans are vast and things could get more confrontational.

Apr 9, 2020 | Full Review…

The real issue with this series is that the crew members aren't all that interesting. There are the usual catfights and territorial disputes, as well as some hints that intra-crew sex might happen. But no one really stands out.

Apr 9, 2020 | Full Review…

A listless docu-series that follows the staff of a 164-foot charter boat, seem so scripted - the stereotypical spoiled crew members, the neatly wrapped-up "plotlines" - that it's hard to take seriously.

Apr 9, 2020 | Full Review…

It's not the sort of show you should tune into if you want to learn more about the charter boat industry, but it certainly offers a voyeuristic guilty pleasure.

It's a toss-up as to who's more obnoxious.
