"Below Deck" heads Down Under to the beautiful Whitsunday Islands in Australia. Navigating through an archipelago just off the Queensland coast, next to the Great Barrier Reef, the series showcases the natural beauty of the vast undersea world and the reality of working on a superyacht. The crew faces long hours and high stress catering to the wants and needs of their well-heeled guests above deck, while dealing with the tension and politics of life below deck. And while each charter presents a new set of challenges for these young, attractive and adventurous "yachties," the nature of their jobs gives them access to a glamorous lifestyle and exotic perks few people ever experience.

K K @RT94156066 2d What makes Below Deck work is the mix of personalities, real ones. The charters, guests, and tips remind you this is still a demanding job, even with the reality TV element. I love the food, chefs, deckhands, destinations, and galley scenes. Captain Jason really has his hands full this season. Betul has impressed me the most with her work ethic, and ability to avoid unnecessary drama while staying focused on growth and learning. I also respected Daisy’s honesty with the captain regarding Jenna. Great leadership and accountability all around. I’m excited to see where these cast members go after the season—BravoCon, hospitality, yachting, or beyond. It great that Ellie went after a culinary certificate; now she has on-boat training with a chef of Ben's caliber. He is a top chef and educator! When Ellie moves up culinary ranks, chefs like captains are prized commodities in the yachting world, the good ones! Glad to see Barbie came gave Ellie someone, as Stews too aligned against her. However I don't care anything at all about the guests being interviewed before they come on the yacht. It is about the crew below deck and yes the guests can affect the drama and the excitement of the show once they're on the yacht. I can't stress enough how boring and useless I find them going out into their homes and finding out more about their personal lives. Please go back to the original format and stop doing that See more Megan M @RT20534489 Apr 7 This is SUCH a disappointing season. It had so much potential with such strong series favorites but the guests are vile this season. Not entertaining, just evil and disgusting. The over the top LGBT stuff is way way too graphic and in your face. The real housewives were unnecessary drama and featured way too long. Then you’ve got the mophead deck stew who loves gossip. The returning sous chef (aleshia?) should have been fired. Beside being wildly incompetent at everything she is mental. Ellie is mentally unwell. Seems like producers only brought them back for drama. We found ourselves fast forwarding through most of the scenes featuring the guests. There’s usually a handful of cringy gross guests each season, but there is no reprieve this season. It literally feels demonic. It’s crossed way too many lines and it just so in your face with glorifying sin and even feels like it’s mocking Christianity at times. The depravity of this franchise has gotten too in your face for me. See more Paul D @LVHothead Feb 12 The RHSLC women are the trashiest yacht guests ever, and they set the tone for this season.
