Critics Consensus

Big Shot struggles to find much new to say, but it boasts strong performances, a sweet disposition, and, with a little perseverance, could become a show worth rooting for.

Audience Reviews for Big Shot: Season 1

An excellent show. For one to say they don't like it I think they are wrong And probably haven't finished the show. This is the first review I've ever wrote and I think it's well needed, Big shot can and will play a role in every one of you guys is life somewhere. The show does really good at keeping you informed, Leaving you with no questions and being unpredictable.

    The best show on Disney+.

This show is complete terrible given the fact that Marvin Korn daughter is stuck up and think she has a say so when she is just a child not to mention the attitude you guys allow her to have in the show is out of line she is not an adult and doesn't have a say so in what her dad's decides because at the end of the day he should be the parent you guys are basically telling kids it's okay to talk to their any old kind of way some with the basketball team they have no right to stop him or get upset with him wanting to live his dream and do what he loves this was bad script writing and this show needs a lot of work I mean look at how the black parents acted when the found out their daughter did wrong the put they foot down and didn't waiver until the coach talk to them but every time Marvin Korn got into it with his daughter you guys made him bow down to her like what kind of show are you guys running I don't recommend this show for anyone because it makes parents and teacher or coaches alike look weak.

One of my favorite Disney Plus original shows shines a light on a team of FANTASTIC actresses, all of which I want in their own Marvel property some day given their vibrant personalities, amazing acting capabilities, and performance in tense and movement-filled scenes. Stamos is fantastic as always, but it is Green, Custodio, Wampler, Schloss, Le, Verlaque, and Byrnes who make the show as fantastic as it is! I am ready for season two!

Whilst I do feel the story could had provided further development for its characters, it still showed several decent moments and at the same time, delivered excellent and strong performances of its cast.

I gotta say, "Big Shot" is rough around its edges, but it does shine in the few moments its given.

Great series! It was a good season done by Disney+

Its concept might seem familiar to the audiences but you may have to give John Stamos his "Big Shot" on this heart-warming series that brings a motivational message in each episode.
