Wealth, influence and corruption collide in this drama set in New York. Shrewd U.S. attorney Chuck Rhoades is embroiled in a high-stakes game of predator vs. prey with Bobby Axelrod, an ambitious hedge-fund king. To date, Rhoades has never lost an insider trading case -- he's 81-0 -- but when criminal evidence turns up against Axelrod, he proceeds cautiously in building the case against Axelrod, who employs Rhoades' wife, psychiatrist Wendy, as a performance coach for his company. Wendy, who has been in her position longer than Chuck has been in his, refuses to give up her career for her husband's legal crusade against Axelrod. Both men use their intelligence, power and influence to outmaneuver the other in this battle over billions. The high-profile cast is led by Emmy winner Paul Giamatti ("John Adams") as Chuck Rhoades.

Billions successfully landed the plane (OK, private jet) with its series finale, in a satisfying finish that reassembled the key players and even gave them time to take individual bows. Go to Full Review

Billions is not only out of step, it has nothing to say. Go to Full Review

But if you manage to swallow the occasional reality-defying twists — and let’s face it, doctors and lawyers have been bemoaning the factual fidelity of their own TV treatments for decades — then Billions remains very enjoyable.  Go to Full Review

Billions pushes into its seventh and final season with as much quippy verve as ever, a fleet of existing grudges, new and interesting allyships, and the welcome return of Damian Lewis as Bobby “Axe” Axelrod. Let the demons run free. Go to Full Review

Penelope B @primapen Aug 31, 2026 Enjoyed it much more than S6. See more T W @TBomb Aug 24, 2026 Season 6 was really really bad and I thought with the return of Bobby Axelrod this would get better. This season they can't seem to decide if Prince is the same as Trump or something else. The leap to "destroy him" to save the country and the world just because he is a billionaire with whiffs of being a 1930's era Nazi requires a suspension of disbelief that I just can't muster. The social justicey crap has always been thick in this show but this season is out of hand. I got vertigo from the number of times I eye-rolled at the virtue signaling. Also the brief arc for Wags odd proclivity is just plain screwed up even for this show and the stuff with Chuck and the brief arc of Taylor and Birbigglebugs. I still watched it because I wanted to see how things end. See more Phil W @PhilW8 Jul 3, 2026 Strong finish! Finally back to the quality of the first 3 seasons. Giamatti and D Lewis are masterful See more J T @Latinalove Dec 15, 2025 When Bobby Axelrod is in the episode, it is peak. This season ends in such a way that makes you smirk. I liked how they brought the heart and soul of the show back. Season 6 was rough without Axe, but understandable why Lewis wanted to take a break from the show to tend to his family following a tragedy. I certainly don't blame him for making the right choice. With that said, having him back for a chunk of season 7 was great for the show. I think this show likes to think it is a duo or even trio that carries it. But the reality is that this show is Bobby Axelrod. When he is in it, it crushes. It drags without him. I think this season certainly has holes. But I liked the final few episodes in particular and was satisfied with the series finale. See more Roberto G @RT53039506 Jun 30, 2025 Wtf with this? Worst plot. Nothing make sense, boring cast. The original cast was excellet except the bold girl. New cast makes me sleep. Worse way to end this excellent show.
