Wealth, influence and corruption collide in this drama set in New York. Shrewd U.S. attorney Chuck Rhoades is embroiled in a high-stakes game of predator vs. prey with Bobby Axelrod, an ambitious hedge-fund king. To date, Rhoades has never lost an insider trading case -- he's 81-0 -- but when criminal evidence turns up against Axelrod, he proceeds cautiously in building the case against Axelrod, who employs Rhoades' wife, psychiatrist Wendy, as a performance coach for his company. Wendy, who has been in her position longer than Chuck has been in his, refuses to give up her career for her husband's legal crusade against Axelrod. Both men use their intelligence, power and influence to outmaneuver the other in this battle over billions. The high-profile cast is led by Emmy winner Paul Giamatti ("John Adams") as Chuck Rhoades.

Billions successfully landed the plane (OK, private jet) with its series finale, in a satisfying finish that reassembled the key players and even gave them time to take individual bows. Go to Full Review

But if you manage to swallow the occasional reality-defying twists — and let’s face it, doctors and lawyers have been bemoaning the factual fidelity of their own TV treatments for decades — then Billions remains very enjoyable.  Go to Full Review

Billions pushes into its seventh and final season with as much quippy verve as ever, a fleet of existing grudges, new and interesting allyships, and the welcome return of Damian Lewis as Bobby “Axe” Axelrod. Let the demons run free. Go to Full Review

J @UtahRondo Dec 15 When Bobby Axelrod is in the episode, it is peak. This season ends in such a way that makes you smirk. I liked how they brought the heart and soul of the show back. Season 6 was rough without Axe, but understandable why Lewis wanted to take a break from the show to tend to his family following a tragedy. I certainly don't blame him for making the right choice. With that said, having him back for a chunk of season 7 was great for the show. I think this show likes to think it is a duo or even trio that carries it. But the reality is that this show is Bobby Axelrod. When he is in it, it crushes. It drags without him. I think this season certainly has holes. But I liked the final few episodes in particular and was satisfied with the series finale. See more Roberto G Jun 30 Wtf with this? Worst plot. Nothing make sense, boring cast. The original cast was excellet except the bold girl. New cast makes me sleep. Worse way to end this excellent show. See more Joel D @JD2025 02/21/2025 There is no bloody point to anything in this series. See more Patrick W 01/12/2025 I just finished the whole series. Season 6 is okay but Season 7 horrible. It didn’t really explain how Axe was able to come back to the states without getting prosecuted. Making Prince the villain when he hasn’t done anything bad. Wendy saying that he’s dangerous when she has done bad things herself and tries to justify them when she couldn’t. Not to mention being married to Chuck who’s abused his power and broke laws to get what he wants and she never tried to take him down. Very hypocritical on who’s evil and who is not. Making Prince out to be simp by having his wife asking him to help save her side piece. Sounds like she’s in love with him. Kate Sacked being forever loyal to Chuck and helping Wendy take Prince down. Then the ending where he loses it all in one day because Scooter’s nephew Philip mad at Prince when he could’ve ran the company himself after Prince becomes President. It was pathetic. One of worst endings ever. See more Eric S 06/11/2024 What a ridiculous ending / plot — Mike Prince has not done anything wrong, and should not have been unreasonably targeted. Wendy is useless. Corruption / collusion won — not pleased. Rhoades and co. are not on the ‘righteous’ side. See more Miodrag M 06/10/2024 Loved this show. to bad its ended. :( See more Read all reviews
