Tv Season Info

The crime series' eighth series begins three months after Temperance "Bones" Brennan (Emily Deschanel) went on the run from the FBI, but the Jeffersonian team does everything it can to prove that she was framed for murder by diabolical genius Christopher Pelant (Andrew Leeds). Season 8's investigations revolve around the deaths of a divorce lawyer, an animal-expo worker, a crime-scene cleanup expert, a professional ballroom dancer, an archaeologist, a roller-derby skater, a TV producer and a stockbroker who moonlighted as a male stripper. In addition, Brennan is shot and the perpetrator may be linked to the Jeffersonian; and the menacing Pelant returns for revenge and more treachery.

Critic Reviews for Bones: Season 8

All Critics (3) | Top Critics (1)

The episode has a rather ingenious plot and allows both Dr. Camille Saroyan (Tamara Taylor) and Dr. Jack Hodgins (T.J. Thyne) substantial roles in the resolution of the crime.

February 11, 2013 | Rating: 3/5 | Full Review…

The guest appearances were entertaining and the camerawork was inventive, but the real merit of this episode was its return to Bones' endearingly absurd humor.

September 17, 2012 | Rating: 7/10 | Full Review…

The show's incredibly charismatic ensemble still seems vital enough to justify the program's longevity.
