There's a lot to unpack in CASTAWAY DIVA. On the surface, it’s about a teen who has been trapped on an island for 15 years, is rescued, and pursues her dreams of becoming a K-pop idol. The Honest R @RT29830032 Dec 10 Castaway Diva For the Korean drama lovers, Castaway Diva is a 10 out of 10. The series focuses on Seo Mok-ha (played by Park Eun-bin) who aspires to be a diva but gets stranded on a remote island. When she returns, she has to adapt to how the world has changed while pursuing her dream. This is a romantic musical comedy, so be prepared to laugh, root for characters, get emotional (I’m not crying, you’re crying), and enjoy an original soundtrack, mostly sung by Park Eun-bin. The last time I’ve seen her was in Extraordinary Attorney Woo (also a great series). I love the abstract themes and the way so many ideals were portrayed. The characters were so well written and the acting was a whole new level. It’s normally difficult to find a show that perfectly captures things I’ve been through but castaway diva made me feel completely seen by the world. I recommend this show to anyone who feels alone because no matter how lonely you may be now , you will feel accepted just by watching this show. 10/10 will be watching again.
