You might not remember anything about the show’s second season after you’re done watching it, but at least you’ll be entertained. Go to Full Review

Despite the wildly inconsistent tone and insouciance, Citadel's second season finds enough pulpy spy-thriller fun and unexpected charm in Stanley Tucci’s scene-stealing turn to make the self-indulgent series an entertaining, but still disposable watch Go to Full Review

Citadel Season 2 raises the stakes with slick action and improved storytelling, yet its reliance on familiar spy tropes keeps it from becoming truly unforgettable. Go to Full Review

Brooks J @Brookstonj 7h Killing off Mason was disappointing. His story was the best arc on the show. I understand the decision, but I didn’t finish the show as I thought what was the point. Hutch is a great new character and I assume the plan was to move forward without Nadia, Mason, and Abby. I get it, but it still leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. Don’t think I’ll continue watching. See more Jane L @JLReviews 13h Fun watch! Great action, great (hot) cast, lots of funny lines and honestly a bit of a relief to just escape from the world and into a binge-worthy show. Love the globe-trotting too. Better than Season 1 which I enjoyed too but not as much. See more Bonnie T @kirker123 15h I can't even remember the last time I've seen a TV series that varied so drastically between its first & second seasons – or seen its two original leads effectively turned into supporting characters. (Likely why they cut S1's opening credits.) This one is MUCH better, and doesn't feel like 70% of what was film ended up on the (metaphorical) cutting room floor. The first season was little more than a confusing who's-the-mole storyline – and that's *before* delving into the two attempted spinoffs, and I feel like I'm one of the few who watched all of them – but they wisely simplified it without dumbing it down. That said, Stanley Tucci was always the best part of the first season (or at least the best acting), and him teamed up with Jack Reynor's Hutch for comic relief and an almost Ocean's 11-style "group caper" definitely works. (As does him singlehandedly taking out about 50 mercs with a shard of plastic.) This show is great. It's fun. It even has heart. I really hope Amazon gives it a third season. I need to check out the spinoffs now, which I somehow missed. See more Tweeter C @RT15128461 20h It was kind of hard to remember the details from the first season, given it has been three years since the last one came out. But, once I got into this season and the current "impossible mission" they were assigned, I was in for the ride. Matt Berry and Jack Raynor were both delightful additions to the show, too. I hope they continue on with the third season, if there is one. I certainly hope that there is. See more Read all reviews
