Cinematography of Barcelona was very good. Guadi plays a star turn with his architecture at the heart of the story. The thriller itself is average but the show has a lot going for it, not least the last chance to see Veronica Echegui in her final role before her tragic & untimely death. It's on my bucket list now. The plot was decent enough, though the ending was a little weak. I thought the casting was well done. It's a shame that Verónica Echegui, the actress who played Rebeca, was taken by cancer not long after this series was filmed. By the end of fourth episode only some clarity comes into being and then it's over within 2 episodes. Still it is watchable in parts See more Mike W @RT06826469 Jan 8, 2026 Wow, what a grab bag of cliches. The only thing original are the bodies + Gaudi buildings. A detective on disciplinary leave, who is assigned a partner he doesn't like, and who has domestic problems. Good grief, how many times have we seen that? It's done, beaten to death (no pun intended). Plus a paint-by-numbers script, with characters so dull and indistinct it's hard to tell them apart.
