Frederic B @FredBarbe 1h Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 has flashes of what it should be: sharper fight choreography, a welcome increase in brutality, and a few strong moments whenever Matt Murdock is allowed to be a lawyer, not just a vigilante. Episode 8 briefly shows how compelling this character can be when the conflict becomes moral and verbal, not only physical. But the season never overcomes its weak writing. It mistakes density for depth, giving too much space to secondary characters we are told to care about but never truly invested in. White Tiger, B.B. Urich, and other subplots often feel more like franchise setup than meaningful storytelling. Worst of all, the show constantly overexplains itself: it shows, tells, then visually underlines the same point again. It survives on nostalgia, familiar characters, and occasional action highs, but it feels more like a Marvel asset being managed than a story being told. People consider the originals to be the best but I don’t care because I liked this season the most. So much happens and the pacing is so fast. Every season so far has had slow moments that make the show have slight boring parts. I expect that from a show because it’s common. But season 2 of born again is just so good. I was also really feeling Karen this season, she was giving off Frank vibes, and I dug it.
