It is still generous with the blood-letting, the headshots, the bone breaks and the brutality. That makes it distinct in the generally sanitised MCU as an adult drama that not looking to play nice. Go to Full Review

This reluctance to fully own the brutal realities that these shows are taking pains to depict is untenable. Go to Full Review

The first season of Jessica Jones, from 2015, remains essential viewing, more influenced by feminism and film noir than comic books. She’s a welcome new lens for Daredevil. Go to Full Review

The season is a drag, playing to the worst impulses of the Marvel/Netflix era. Go to Full Review

While it’s not exactly Marvel’s most popular franchise on TV right now, it certainly is their strongest, and I hope they can continue on with the roll they seem to be on. Go to Full Review

Born Again Season 2 has its moments for sure, but everything else feels like it has dragged on for far too many seasons. The end of the conflict can't come quick enough, and its resolution in the finale borders on Looney Toones style buffoonery. Go to Full Review

Patrick B @RT32562293 2d Two good things. The practical fights were good and episode 4's pacing was good. Everything else was bad. This show so far has been trying to redo everything the Netflix show had already done, except it's doing it worse. The characters are hard to care for and they often make dumb decisions which make no sense. There are many useless characters in the season who play no role in the plot at all. There is no deep character development either. This whole season was meant just for the sake of drama. Fisk is a mindless brute who keeps making bad decisions as opposed to how he was in the Netflix series. The writing is horrible and offers nothing new to the viewers. The cinematography and lighting are horrible and meant to look too fancy and overly cinematic. Bullseye, despite having screentime, does nothing. Horrible writing with no clear sense of direction or passion for the character and the world itself. See more Bernadine M @RT568904421819 3d Actually the best character in this actually is "Poindexter" but Vincent D'Onofrio (Fisk) steals every scene... See more Numair H @NumairHaider 6d Daredevil Season 2 goes all out in a way I missed in the Netflix era. Marvel decided to stop holding back and finally let Daredevil be the devil of Hell’s Kitchen. The plot and writing is one of the best. The character development of Matt and Fisk is something extraordinary. Bullseye took the win for me this season. Blues of Bullseye and Reds of Daredevil were used so artistically I genuinely forgot this was supposed to be a superhero tv show. I think Marvel experimented in the best of ways, and I hope they keep doing so. And the finale was one of the best ones out there. Seeing Matt being his lawyer self was something I missed so dearly. All in all, a very very good show to watch is you love grounded and street level TV Shows with no extra gimmicks. PROS: - Artistically beautiful cinematography. - Amazing and uncensored action. - One of the best writings. - Great character arcs overall. CONS: - Few cameos and references to Defenders and Netflix Daredevil. See more Johann D. M @Johann33 6d THRILLING AND DARKER!!! It was about time these characters faced greater challenges and underwent meaningful turning points that finally broke the repetitive cycle of confrontation between them. The pacing is a considerable improvement over the first season, with every episode raising the stakes and delivering more impactful events. The shocking and unexpected deaths constantly remind viewers that no one is truly safe, while the action sequences are more brutal, visceral, and expertly choreographed than ever. The return of Jessica Jones is a welcome addition, bringing fresh energy and great chemistry to the story. The cinematography is gorgeous, embracing a darker and more grounded style, and the character arcs feel richer and more satisfying. Capped off by an explosive, action-packed finale full of twists that completely changes the status quo, this season is a worthy and exciting continuation of Daredevil's story. See more Pamela D @Pam1987 Jul 28 Some awesome action scenes between too much wringed out melodrama. Any scene with Bullseye has been great though. See more Joseph D @Jdebellis Jul 26 Disney sure knows how to ruin great things…… at no point did it feel like Fisk was winning or a step ahead…. See more Read all reviews
