Every murder investigation begins with the end -- the victim's final day. What starts out as an ordinary day suddenly turns violent and ends in tragedy. This show follows investigators as they review victims' final hours, digging for clues and hunting down the killers. A college student out for a run, a young woman discovering she's about to become a mom, a father leaving for work -- all everyday lives that were brutally cut short.

See more 07/02/2022 Dateline is my favorite show but the (slightly) new format is a step backward. Sometimes the best clue is found on the last day. WAT? It is a murder, what else would anyone expect? And the interviewee being introduced by staring eerily at the audience is just creepy and weird. Out with the new, in with the old!
