Critics Consensus

Though the narrative remains too ambitious, DC's Legends of Tomorrow enjoys a freer creative arc with the removal of problem characters.

The overall story arc was a great laugh and it has some outstanding episodes. Top stuff, and I truly hope they can continue this momentum into Season 3.

As far as premieres go, this was about as much fun as Legends of Tomorrow could find space to cram in.

For those who gave up on Legends after its disappointing first season, take heart that the story might finally be getting the justice it deserves.

I could watch a show just about them going on their evil road-trip through time.

Jul 29, 2018 | Full Review…

That's not to say that "Fellowship" totally eschews the "let's do whatever sounds most fun" atmosphere that's defined the show's sophomore season, but this is certainly a darker and more melancholy episode than we've seen from "Legends" recently

It's my favorite show on television, and it could be yours too.

Apr 4, 2017 | Full Review…

The first two episodes of the new year of "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" have both been a lot of fun, even if the two respective groups have often been at odds with one another throughout. Not that it's necessarily a bad thing, mind you.

Feb 1, 2017 | Full Review…

It's not Legends weakest effort by far, but in comparison to the strong openers of The Flash and Supergirl, it still has a lot to achieve.

Nov 7, 2016 | Rating: 3/5 | Full Review…

A high-profile guest star adds little energy to the team's time-hopping adventures. Here's hoping Legends of Tomorrow season 2 places more of an emphasis on character than overly convoluted plot in upcoming episodes.

Oct 9, 2016 | Rating: 5/10 | Full Review…

Last season, The CW premiered Legends of Tomorrow... and it was weird...While the season two premiere features similar stylings, it packs an ending that will definitely make viewers want to come back for more.

Audience Reviews for DC's Legends of Tomorrow: Season 2

  • Apr 05, 2020
A much better season and fun travelling across history with these heroes.
  • Jan 28, 2020
With more Time travel, humor and new characters to elevate it's storyline Season 2 of 'Legends of Tomorrow' makes for a better, more improved and eventually just an excellent Season.
  • Dec 28, 2019
Exciting action scenes, beautiful visual effects, great performances by Victor Garber, Brandon Routh, Arthur Darvill, Caity Lotz, Franz Drameh, Matt Letscher, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Amy Pemberton, Nick Zano, Dominic Purcell, Neal McDonough, John Barrowman and Wentworth Miller and character removal elevate DC's Legends of Tomorrow's second season, which is better than its predecessor
  • Oct 15, 2019
Somehow they screwed up the plot
  • Sep 25, 2019
Season 2 was even better than Season 1. Adding Justice Society was a treat.
  • Jul 20, 2019
The best season in every arrowside is the highlight of the series and gives the tone for the following seasons
  • Jul 15, 2019
The sophomore season for the Legends works by removing some of the characters that didn't mesh in its opener, putting more emphasis on comedy, and introducing us to the characters of Nate/Steel and Amaya/Vixen as well as the Legion of Doom. The second season of the Legends largely improves on its previous season and adds a level of heart to the show in the process.
  • Jun 05, 2019
Reverse flash ah killing everyone of us killing everyone of us.
  • Apr 17, 2019
The best season out of all of the arrowverse shows.
  • Jan 03, 2019
This is were everything goes wrong. When they take other dead or put in prison heroes and supervillains from other Arrowverse shows, it becomes full with plot holes and unanswered questions. Everything is the same as last year. Caity Lotz has definitely improved. I didn't like how they used Rip Hunter, it was slow and dull. Although the ending was satisfying. And I like Black Flash. If you like the flash you might like this season. Also, Vixen was in this. I would age this 12 for gore, violence, and bad language. Grade: A-
