Over four "parts" Disenchantment has tried to establish a rich fantasy world and has succeeded in building a great deal of atmosphere, but it does so through a main story that is simply pedestrian. Everything going on in the background of Disenchantment looks engaging, but instead of stopping to visit this world in a sitcom-style episodic the story continues onward. Matt Groening and company have built their impressive resume around sitcom-style adult animation, and it's been clear for a while that they're not meant to be architects of an overarching story. After four "parts" it's confusing to see them continue to try to sell the package this way when we know that they're more than capable of arranging it like a sitcom and elevating the show immensely given the talents on that roster. Ultimately Disenchantment is disappointing because of the excellent roster of comedic voice actors that feel as if they're being squandered on a subpar plot-driven cartoon that owns enough atmosphere to be interesting, even excellent, if only Groening would cut the string and abandon their wholly uninteresting main story. Muchos personajes dando vuelta pero ninguno resulta relevante salvo la protagonista (ya ni elfo o luci parecen serlo). Igual no esta mal, no me arruina la serie (hasta ahora) pero no solo tiene potencial para ser mejor sino que lo fue y ojala vuelva a serlo.
